You can report bullying or harassment situations to us anonymously 24/7. When you report a situation, our experts will review the case and evaluate your situation. You will receive our response within 0-3 days. Our response includes legal advice, psychological support and tools to resolve the situation. If necessary, we will also help you to file a police report. Our experts are lawyers, psychologists and social psychologists specialized in social media.

| Our help is always personalized to your specific situation. We take into account the type of help you want from us - whether it's legal advice, tips on how to protect yourself online or emotional support. If you are a minor, we will also provide you with tools to help you tell a trusted adult about the situation, if necessary.

How can I delete my user account on SomeBuddy?

You can request the deletion of your account and any information on your account by sending an email to info@somebuddy.se. Once your account is deleted, your right to use the service will expire.

How do I get access to SomeBuddy?

Accepted Answer

SomeBuddy protects communities. You may have received access to the service from your school, employer or other community to which you belong. Currently, certain municipalities and cities have purchased SomeBuddy for their students and school professionals. If the service is in use in your school, you will receive the necessary activation code from there. If you can't find the activation code you received from your school, please contact our customer service team via chat or email (info@somebuddy.se).

How do I save SomeBuddy on my home screen?

Use your phone to go to app.somebuddy.com and log in.
Click the Share icon in your browser and tap "Add to home screen".
Now you can open SomeBuddy app directly from your home screen.

Android devices

Use your phone to go to app.somebuddy.com and log in.
Click on the three dots icon.
Select "Add a shortcut to your home screen". Alternatively, you can create a shortcut by dragging the icon to your home screen.
Now you can open SomeBuddy app directly from your home screen.

Samsung

Use your phone to go to app.somebuddy.com and log in.
Click on the three diagonal lines in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Select "Add page to" -> "Home screen"
Now you can open SomeBuddy app directly from your home screen.

How do I log out?

You can log out of the service by clicking on the menu at the top right. Click on the menu and select "Log out". To log in again, go to https://app.somebuddy.com and log in with your phone number or email address.

SomeBuddy is a Finnish company founded in 2017 to originally help victims of online harassment. At the time, it was clear that people were not getting the help they needed for their online harassment and were often left to deal with situations on their own. The existing means to resolve the situations were not fast and effective enough. To address this need, we developed SomeBuddy, which allows any social media user to get quick and effective help for problems encountered on social media. Harassment on social media often causes shame and even guilt, which is why our service is based on an easy-to-use app where you can report your situation with a low threshold and in complete anonymity. Today, we help in all kinds of bullying and harassment situations. The majority of incidents reported to SomeBuddy have occurred in digital channels.
